Your voice at the center of our work together.

We live in a complex world, and the journey to finding oneself while experiencing intense adversity can be very difficult. As a clinician, I believe that humans all possess an inherent resilience that can guide us through adverse experiences. I utilize an evidence-based, person-centered, and socially conscious approach to psychotherapy that helps my clients learn ways to activate this existing resiliency. I specialize in treating PTSD, C-PTSD, depression, anxiety, and adjustment disorders. Themes I specialize in include trauma and crisis aftermath, grief, immigration/cultural assimilation, identity/stages of life, and family stress.

My work places a keen focus on the impact of trauma and adversity on the mind and spirit, and our response to stress tolerance. I apply critical race and intersectional theory lenses to my practice. I incorporate various modalities into my trauma-informed practice to best meet the individual needs of all of my clients.

I aim to foster a therapeutic space that is safe enough to discuss all facets of how our identity is shaped, inclusive of race, ethnicity, sexuality, gender, and the expression of oppression and privilege. I will respect and incorporate your value systems and what is important to your sense of overall wellness into our work together.

I am currently seeing telehealth patients via a secure HIPAA compliant platform for adults, couples, and families that reside in the state of NY. I am in network with BCBS, Cigna, Aetna, and Carelon Behavioral Health. I aim to make my services offered equitable and accessible to all who need them. Reach out regarding fees and sliding scales, if out of network.
